City Theatre highlights immigrant struggles
City Theater wraps in the 2016-17 season with “Ironbound,” a modern day drama by Polish-American playwright Martyna Majok. Directed by City Theater Artistic Director Tracy Brigden, the play works through June 4, in the main Stage Theatre.
This thought-provoking and darkly funny new play spans 22 years in the life span of your Polish immigrant as she handles the thrust and take of love versus survival. Through the entire run, donations of Walmartone gift cards, bus fare cards, and diapers from patrons to benefit clients of Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s, Immigrant Services and Refugee Resettlement program will be accumulated.
Seat tickets start at $37.50.
